This benefit tournament supports Plant City Optimist Club assistance to Plant City Parks & Recreation Department programs such as:
  • Optimist Youth Flag Football
  • Optimist Youth Basketball
  • Optimist Youth Soccer
  • Football Punt-Pass-Kick
  • Basketball Dribble-Pass-Shoot
  • Soccer Dribble-Pass-Shoot
  • City-Wide Easter Egg Hunt
  • Monster Mash Trunk or Treat
  • Youth Oratorical Contest
  • Youth Appreciation Week
  • Youth Respect for Law Week
  • Little League baseball team
  • Plant City Police Dept. "Kid Care Packs"
  • Parks & Rec program scholarship assistance for needy youths
  • A minimum of 6 annual $1,000 graduating high school senior college and/or tech/trade school scholarships

  • Held at Diamond Hill Golf Club, 13115 Sydney Road, Dover FL 33527 (813-689-7219)
  • Registrations accepted August 1 through Monday prior to the event.

  • On-site check-in and driving range practice begins at 6:45 a.m. on tournament day
  • Shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
  • Lunch provided after the tournament.
  • Format is a 4-person scramble
  • Payout for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams
  • Other contests include:
    • Putting Contest 
    • 2 Long Drive holes
    • 2 Closest to Pin holes
    • Door Prize Raffle
  • Cost - all player levels include 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, meal, awards:
    • Basic Tournament Package: $100 per player
    • Company Hole Sponsorship (includes sign on the course): $100 per hole
    • Silver Hole Sponsorship (includes Hole Sponsorship and one 4 player team): $500 per hole
    • Gold Hole Sponsorship (includes Silver package plus contest ad): $650 per hole
    • Platinum Hole Sponsorship (includes Gold package plus a second 4 player team, clubhouse ad): $850 per hole
  • Also available:
    • Mulligan/Raffle super tickets
      (includes two mulligans, move up one tee on one hole each nine [not on contest holes], and 15 raffle tickets - a $30 value): $20 per 10 ticket string
