Other Information:
The City Planning Board is comprised of 7 members appointed by the Commission. The Planning Board reviews and recommends to the City Commission:
  • Revisions to the City's Comprehensive Plan
  • Amendments to the City's land use regulations and amendments to the zoning districts
  • Amendments to the City's housing code
  • Plans for the subdivision of land and the opening or extension of streets, alleys and rights of ways
  • Proposals for new parks and places of recreation when requested by the City Commission
