Special Weapons and Tactics - SWAT
The SWAT Team is an Ad-Hoc function of the Investigation Services Division and is responsible for:
- Locating and isolating suspects
- Evaluating threats
- Using specialized weapons and tactics to effect apprehension or contain a scene in a manner that affords minimum danger to police and citizens
The SWAT Team is comprised of members from all department divisions.
