SPECIAL PLANNING BOARD MEETING

PLANNING BOARD MEETING BEGINS AT 8:30 a.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Board of the City of Plant City, will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 8:30 am in the City Commission Chambers, Nettie Berry Draughon Municipal Building, 302 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida 33563,  to which all interested persons are invited to attend. 

The purpose of this meeting:

Consideration of approval of written findings and recommendations to the City Commission regarding:

(a) PC/CPA 22-15 – Blue Steel Development – Swindell & County Line Road - A large-scale map amendment request to change 243.13± acres from Hillsborough County Agricultural/Rural and Residential-1 to Industrial.

(b) PB-2022-48 – Oakfield Business Park Planned Development District – North side of Swindell Road east of Charlie Taylor Road - A request to rezone 204.88± acres from Hillsborough County AR, AS-1, and Planned Development (05-1637) to the Oakfield Business Park Planned Development District to allow 1,546,655 square feet of industrial uses.
