Overview
Plant City Fire Rescue is responsible to respond to reports of fires, medical emergencies, and other natural or man-made disasters. We are also directed to improve the quality of life to the citizens through education pertaining to fire and health issues in an effort to reduce the threat to life and property.

Knox Box Program
The Knox Box system provides non-destructive, emergency address to commercial and residential property. Your choice of emergency entry can be a swipe card or a key which is safely secured inside a box mounted on the exterior of the building. We have a special key specific to Plant City Fire Rescue that no one has access to except fire department personnel. Once you have purchased and installed the box, you may contact our office to schedule a time when we can meet you to open the box in which to secure your entry key. When the key is locked inside, we will use the key to enter the business or residence to investigate an alarm notification or treat a patient who is home alone.
