Minimum: $11.91 Hr.

SANITATION  H.S./GED. Class B Florida CDL. 2 yrs. experience in medium/heavy equipment operation.  Skilled work in the operation of medium sanitation motorized equipment.  Ability to operate and perform routine maintenance to equipment.  Ability to lift 50 lbs. Works in various weather conditions.  Ability to understand and follow written and oral communication.

Minimum: $11.02 Hr.
 PARKS H.S. /GED. Class B FL CDL. 2 years experience in landscaping and irrigation. Functions as lead worker, skilled in operation and preventative maintenance of equipment and related tools. Skilled and manual lead work in maintaining various grounds, fields and facilities. Works outside in various weather conditions and at heights up to 15 ft. Works with insecticides/herbicides.



Minimum $ 10.22 Hr.

H.S. /GED.  Some experience in library clerical work preferred.  Knowledge of standard library clerical methods and practices.   Provides circulation services to the public and maintain orderly flow of returned materials.  Responsible for the search, recovery and processing of library materials on hold.  Assists with the ordering, receipt and processing of new materials.  Shelves and mends damaged books, magazines and other materials.  Excellent communication skills a must.  Ability to type 20 wpm.  Some evening and weekend work required.

Minimum: $13.89 Hr.

H.S./GED. Class E FL. Drivers license Requires. 3 years of electrical and mechanical trouble shooting and repairs. Job functions Crew leader in the maintenance and repair of lift stations, wells and the wastewater treatment plant projects. Ability and knowledge to work safely around high voltage up to 480v. Must have knowledge and a good understanding of mechanical and electrical tools, machinery, and electrical systems. Ability to read blue prints and ladder logic diagrams. Must obtain a Class 3 distribution system license after 18 months water experience.


Minimum: $10.22 Hr.

UTILITIES MAINTENANCE  H.S. /GED. Class D FL CDL.  General mechanical ability for the installation and repairs associated with water collection and distribution systems.  Able to operate maintenance tools and other equipment.  Ability to lift 50 lbs.  Works in various weather conditions.   Will be required to obtain a Class B CDL with tanker and air brake endorsement and qualify for on-call duty.


Minimum: $12.86 Hr.


H.S/GED. Class A FL Driver’s License. Must have 3 yrs. Experience supervising employees. Responsible for the installation of water meters, water main lines, water service laterals, and fire hydrants. Ability to operate various equipment, such as backhoe, loader, dump truck, ditch witch, road and chop saws and other related equipment. Ability to read blue prints and geological mapping and suggesting functional changes. Possess level III distribution system license.



Minimum: $16.21 Hr


H.S./GED. Valid Fl Driver’s License 3 yrs. experience in operation of a water/wastewater treatment plant.  Must possess a Class “C” license in wastewater plant operations AND Class “C” license in water plant operations as issued by the State of Florida.  Ability to record data, perform lab tests and manage personnel on various shifts. Job requires shift work for continuous coverage of the water and wastewater plants.


Minimum: $19.65Hr


H.S./GED. Valid Florida Driver License. FL Certified or presently enrolled in and will complete standard police academy within 30 days. Minimum 19 years of age, U.S. citizen, and good moral character as set forth by the State Commission.

Minimum: $8.50 Hr.


H.S. /GED. Must be 18 yrs. of age at time of application. Valid FL Driver’s License. Some college course work in Recreation/Physical Education/Education K-8 or related experience. Prefer experience supervising team or individual sports and vast knowledge of variety of other recreation activities. Conversational Spanish a plus, but not required.


Minimum: $8.50 Hr.
 RECREATION H.S. /GED. Must be 18 yrs. of age at time of application. Valid FL Driver’s License. Some college course work in Recreation/Physical Education/Education K-8 or related experience. Prefer experience in leading & supervising individual and groups in specific recreational activities such as Arts-N-Crafts, Dance, Cooking, Individual & Team Sports, Orienteering, Knots, etc. Conversational Spanish a plus.
Minimum: $10.22 Hr.
 SANITATION Valid State Identification.Heavy manual labor work in the collection and disposal of refuse. Physical strength, stamina and ability to perform lifting, loading, bending, and other manual work. Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Works in various weather conditions.

Range: $41,954.00 – 52,442.00 DOQ
 UTILITIES DIVISION BS degree, Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related BS Engineering. Minimum EIT required. Water/Wastewater systems experience and working knowledge of AutoCad, hydraulic modeling and GIS database preferred. Performs a variety of engineering design and inspection services generally related to water, wastewater, and reclaimed water utility services. Performs independent work within the authority prescribed by the Utilities Director, including all aspects of new construction from preliminary design through construction, asset management, development review, and engineering support of day-to-day utility operation and maintenance. Provides engineering design, permitting, cost estimating, and construction phase services for water, sanitary sewer, reclaimed water mains, pump stations, treatment, disposal, and reuse facilities. Performs or coordinates preliminary and design phase field services including locates, soils and pavement investigations, including quality control review of field and survey work performed by others. Reviews construction plans, shop drawings, and other submittals and inspects construction to verify compliance with the City's standards and specifications. Works closely with staff to develop and execute asset management projects including needs assessments, asset databases, financial projection, and rehabilitation projects. Performs hydraulic modeling tasks for all water systems. Work is performed under the supervision and guidance of the Utilities Director or other licensed Professional Engineer as assigned.

Minimum: $11.91 Hr.
 POLICE H.S. /GED. 1 yr. experience in general clerical work or telephone operation required. Able to make independent judgments concerning life threatening situations; excellent oral communications a must; ability to receive calls/complaints concerning emergency service and record them. Weekend, holiday and rotating shift work required. Ability to type 30 wpm required.
